Face Valheim 1.0's final Forsaken in the Deep North. Reach the Aesir Passage, enter The Prison and survive Kall Fimbulbringer's multi-phase finale.
3× Malicious Blood at the Strange Bowl · Multi-phase Deep North finale · Sacrificial Blood and Crown Jewel
Kall does not grant a conventional Forsaken Power. The final boss instead connects directly to Valheim's ending progression.
Kall Fimbulbringer is the final boss added with Valheim 1.0. Reaching the encounter is a progression challenge in itself: explore the Deep North, work through its dungeon and invasion chain, obtain three Malicious Blood and offer them at the Strange Bowl in the Aesir Passage to gain access to The Prison.
Bring upgraded Deep North equipment and favour strong blunt or slash damage. Kall resists pierce, fire, frost and lightning and is immune to spirit, so a specialised elemental setup can perform poorly here.
Use your strongest Deep North foods and carry substantial healing plus stamina or Eitr recovery. This is a multi-phase finale, so resource longevity matters more than squeezing maximum damage into the opening phase.
The encounter takes place in The Prison beyond the Aesir Passage, not at a conventional open-air altar. Enter fully supplied and expect the arena and encounter structure to change as the fight progresses.
Kall is a multi-phase final encounter. The fight shifts from direct combat into a special middle phase involving echoes of earlier Forsaken before returning to Kall for the final confrontation. Preserve consumables and do not treat the first health phase as the finish line.
Do not empty your consumables or resources during the opening exchange. The encounter continues through distinct stages and demands endurance.
Current 1.0 data indicates Kall resists pierce and several elemental damage types. Carry a strong slash or blunt option rather than relying on a single specialised damage source.
During the middle stage, Kall becomes unavailable while seven killable Aspects tied to earlier Forsaken enter the encounter. Clear the Aspects methodically and prioritise survival instead of wasting attacks on Kall while he cannot be damaged.
Keep recovery supplies and enough stamina or Eitr for the final direct phase. Treat the opening stages as part of a longer encounter and preserve resources for the final confrontation.
Defeating Kall rewards Sacrificial Blood and a Crown Jewel. Sacrificial Blood is tied to Valheim's 1.0 ending, while the Crown Jewel is used in the final tier of post-boss progression.
Enter The Prison fully supplied for a multi-stage encounter. Carry more than one effective damage option and conserve healing, stamina or Eitr recovery for the later phases.
Coordinate resources across the group and focus together during the encounter's changing phases. During the aspect sequence, clear threats methodically before committing resources to the final confrontation.
Kall differs from the previous Forsaken: there is no separate Forsaken Power for this final boss. Sacrificial Blood instead connects the victory back to the original Sacrificial Stones and Valheim's ending.
