Solarus the Immaculate V Rising boss guide artwork

Solarus the Immaculate is part of the Risen Ancients V Rising 1.1 boss-guide progression. This guide covers where to find the encounter, the attacks that matter, a practical Normal strategy, Brutal Mode considerations and the progression rewards.

Location and preparation

Verified 1.1 level: 86

Location: Fortress of Light, Silverlight Hills.

Attacks and abilities

Key attacks

Buzzsaw / spinning wheels: Solarus uses broad sword swings followed by splitting holy projectiles. Moving behind him during the wind-up can avoid the projectile path and create a damage window.

Luminance / light orbs: holy projectiles spread across the arena. Create distance to give yourself more reaction time and walk between safe gaps where possible.

Holy charge: a committed forward charge. Move through or behind Solarus rather than retreating in a straight line.

Divine Angel: joins the encounter with fast spear swipes, thrusts and a charge.

Light-beam phase: Solarus becomes immune while sweeping beams cross the arena. The Angel becomes the immediate objective.

How to beat Solarus the Immaculate

Bring sufficient Holy Resistance for the Fortress of Light. Ranged damage is useful during projectile patterns, but several of Solarus' attacks are actually safer when you reposition behind him. When he becomes immune, switch focus to the Divine Angel while treating the sweeping light beams as the primary threat. Once the Angel becomes Fallen, avoid unnecessarily drawing its attention away from Solarus.

Brutal Mode strategy

On Brutal, Solarus regenerates health during his immune/light-beam phase, increasing the value of entering that transition with the Angel already weakened. Defensive barriers can be extremely effective against his projectile-heavy kit, but movement through safe gaps remains essential.

Rewards and unlocks

Current 1.1 core rewards/progression: Soul Shard of Solarus; Pedestal of Solarus; Dracula's Boots.
