V Rising 1.1 boss guide for Lidia the Chaos Archer, covering location, key attacks, Normal and Brutal Mode strategy, rewards and progression.

Lidia the Chaos Archer is part of the Risen Ancients V Rising 1.1 boss-guide progression. This guide covers where to find the encounter, the attacks that matter, a practical Normal strategy, Brutal Mode considerations and the progression rewards.
Verified 1.1 level: 30
Lidia patrols roads in central Farbane, particularly around the route between the Bandit Copper Mine and Bandit Logging Camp.
Use the V Blood tracking interface to follow her trail rather than searching randomly.
Because she is a roaming boss, the location where you find her isn't necessarily where you should fight her.
Look for open ground with room to move sideways. Avoid beginning the encounter near large groups of bandits, undead or other roaming enemies.
Lidia can fight hostile creatures she encounters, which may create opportunities to engage her while weakened. However, relying on that is optional rather than part of the recommended strategy.
Row Shots
Lidia fires three consecutive arrows that inflict Ignite.
Counter: Move sideways as she begins firing. Keep changing position rather than retreating along the arrows' trajectory.
Invisibility
Lidia temporarily disappears to escape and reposition.
Counter: Stop committing to attacks at her previous position. Move into clear ground and locate her before approaching again.
Arrow Barrage
Lidia fires four arrows that leave damaging areas of Ignite.
Counter: Watch where the projectiles land and avoid crossing the resulting burning ground.
Brutal: Enhanced Row Shots
The documented Brutal version increases the attack from three arrows to five.
Counter: Maintain lateral movement for the entire sequence rather than assuming the attack has finished after the third projectile.
Brutal: Enhanced Arrow Barrage
The number of projectiles increases from four to eight, creating substantially more dangerous ground coverage.
Counter: Prioritise escaping the affected area over dealing damage.
Brutal: Hyper Shot
Lidia fires a projectile that lands after a delay and creates a large Ignite area.
Counter: Identify its destination, leave the impact zone and wait for the explosion before approaching again.
Track Lidia and follow her until she reaches an open section of road.
Clear nearby enemies before starting. Begin at medium range so you have room to react to her first attack.
As Lidia begins firing, move sideways. Avoid dodging directly backwards, since this can leave you travelling along the incoming projectile path.
Once the sequence finishes, approach for a short spear combination or cast your ranged spell.
When Lidia disappears, disengage rather than pursuing her last visible position.
Her repositioning can disrupt your orientation, particularly if you've been circling around her.
Find her again, identify the next attack and resume your normal rhythm.
When the barrage begins, concentrate on the impact locations.
The dangerous part isn't just the initial projectile. Burning areas can restrict your movement afterwards, so avoid retreating into an area that has already been affected.
Use your movement ability if you cannot safely escape through ordinary movement.
The fight is most reliable when you alternate between movement and short offensive windows.
Use ranged spells when she creates distance, then approach for melee attacks after a committed volley.
Don't chase through Ignite simply to maintain constant damage.
Continue respecting the projectile sequences even when her health becomes low.
The encounter rewards patience more than aggression.
Lidia's Brutal encounter increases projectile pressure, including a five-arrow version of her standard row shot and larger Ignite coverage. Maintain lateral movement for the entire sequence rather than assuming the attack has finished after the normal three shots.
Preserve open ground, use shorter attack windows and keep a travel skill available when burning areas begin to overlap.
Lidia's unlocks
Reward | What it provides
Tier 1 Chaos Spell Point | Another Chaos spell selection
The Devourer | Salvage eligible unwanted items
Leatherworking Station | Additional crafting options
Leather Bag | Increased carrying capacity
Longbow recipe | New ranged weapon option
The Devourer allows players to salvage eligible equipment and other items into useful materials, reducing waste as their equipment improves.
Stunlock's official salvage guide confirms that defeating Lidia unlocks the station and explains its role in recycling unwanted items. Note that the official article still lists an older boss level, which is why our guide will use the newer level-30 encounter references for that detail.
Return to your castle, build the Devourer when you have the materials, and review the Leatherworking Station and Longbow options.
For the wider guide collection, we'll link Lidia to Grayson and Goreswine, both level-27 encounters that players may already have completed or may choose to tackle before her.
