V Rising 1.1 level: 53. General Elena the Hollow patrols the southern and south-western paths of the Ruins of Mortium. Use V Blood tracking to locate her current position rather than searching for a fixed boss room.
Preparation: She may travel with Draculin escorts. Clear or separate nearby enemies before committing to the fight, then choose open ground with room to dodge frost projectiles. Bring a ranged option to damage her Ice Pillar when she raises it.
Crossbow volleys: Elena fires several frost-infused bolts. Her aim can punish early dodges, so react to the projectile path rather than moving automatically.
Glacial Shockwave: A line of ice advances towards you. Step or dodge to the side instead of retreating along its path.
Icy Rain of Arrows: Marked ground areas are struck by falling frost bolts. Leave the indicators immediately.
Ice spikes and storms: Circular telegraphs indicate ground-based frost attacks. Move clear before the spikes erupt.
Ice Pillar: Elena elevates herself on a destructible ice pillar and attacks from above. Target the pillar to bring her back down; watch for frost volleys while doing so.
1. Remove the escorts. Avoid taking on Elena and several Draculin simultaneously. If necessary, draw her to a clearer section of road.
2. Read the crossbow. Move only when you know where the bolts are heading. Premature dodging can carry you into her off-centre shots.
3. Respect the ground markers. Stop attacking when ice circles or shockwave lanes appear and leave their path.
4. Break the Ice Pillar. When Elena climbs onto the pillar, switch to ranged attacks against its health bar. Once it breaks, exploit her return to the ground with short, safe damage bursts.
5. Maintain steady pressure. Frost effects can freeze you and expose you to a second hit. Keep a defensive cooldown ready and avoid long melee commitments.
Allow more space for Elena's frost volleys and ground attacks. Clear escorts before the pull and preserve movement for the Ice Pillar phase. When the pillar appears, break it promptly while staying out of the marked frost areas. Focus on reliable survival and short punish windows rather than assuming an unverified Brutal-exclusive attack.
