RESOURCE & FARMING
V RISING GUIDE
Where to find V Rising's key resources, what they are used for and when each material becomes important to your progression.
EARLY-GAME MATERIALS
Build your first production chain with copper, sulphur, leather, coarse thread, whetstones and other Farbane essentials.
FARBANE RESOURCES →MID-GAME MATERIALS
Progress through iron, cotton, wool thread, quartz, glass, grave dust and scourgestone as Dunley and the surrounding regions open up.
DUNLEY & BEYOND →LATE-GAME MATERIALS
Prepare for endgame crafting with silver, dark silver, ghost yarn, radium alloy, power cores and other high-tier materials.
ENDGAME RESOURCES →Copper & Sulphur
Mine copper ore throughout Farbane Woods and refine it into ingots for early weapons, tools and castle upgrades. Sulphur becomes increasingly important for explosives and advanced recipes, so start stockpiling it before you think you need it.
Iron & Cotton
Iron marks the major mid-game equipment jump. Pair iron runs with cotton farming in Dunley, then process cotton into yarn and improved armour materials as your tailoring chain develops.
Quartz, Glass & Scourgestone
Quartz feeds glass production and important castle and crafting upgrades. Grave Dust and Scourgestone become regular requirements for magical equipment and higher-tier recipes, making efficient undead-area routes valuable.
Silver & Dark Silver
Silver is dangerous to carry in large quantities because of Silver Sickness. Prepare resistance before serious mining runs, then convert the material into Dark Silver as late-game weapon and crafting requirements increase.
Radium Alloy & Power Cores
Gloomrot introduces industrial materials and specialised production chains. Treat Radium Alloy and Power Cores as planned farming targets rather than incidental loot because high-tier upgrades can consume them quickly.
Fish, Blood & Consumables
Not every useful farming run is about ore. Fishing, prisoners with strong blood quality, herbs and consumable ingredients all support boss attempts and long-term progression. Build these into your routine before supplies run dry.
